Suboxene

How does Suboxene work? Can someone still get high while taking it? It's an opiate too, right?

from my understanding (please other chime in) suboxone works by attaching to the receptors that your opiate of choice would attach to-
so you will not get high and yes it is an opiate google it- there is even some good info on wikipedia

yes, minmim...you are correct. I jsut took my daughter to a doc who prescribed suboxone to my daughter to help with getting off of heroin. She said exactly what you said...that the suboxone fills up those opiat receptors in the brain.

Suboxone binds to the receptors in your brain blocking any opiates from getting in. You cannot get high off of any opiates while on Suboxone. However, if one does not use pain killers, Suboxone will get them high.
