Suboxene

How does Suboxene work? Can someone still get high while taking it? It's an opiate too, right?

Suboxone will utterly **** you up to begin with. But, the more you take it, the less you feel unless you up your dosage. But, it is addictive so don't let anyone tel any of you different. As for being on Suboxone & trying to get high on other drugs as well, you can not get high on any type of pain medication while on it but as for speed, nerve pills, basically anything else but pain medication, you can still get high.

I read the original question wrong. I though he asked if Suboxone would get you high. I'm sorry.

Oh no. You are very wrong about one thing Minim. I've been on suboxone for over a year now. You can get very high off of it & you can get addicted to it. I know so many people that are now addicted to suboxone, along with me & my boyfriend.

yes, minmim...you are correct. I jsut took my daughter to a doc who prescribed suboxone to my daughter to help with getting off of heroin. She said exactly what you said...that the suboxone fills up those opiat receptors in the brain.

from my understanding (please other chime in) suboxone works by attaching to the receptors that your opiate of choice would attach to-
so you will not get high and yes it is an opiate google it- there is even some good info on wikipedia
