Suboxone *****~!!! HELP!!

I've been on suboxone for 2 weeks and I HATE IT! I have pains in my chest when on it. My heart beats way too fast and it scares me. I can't sleep at night. I feel disconnected from the world. I hate this drug and if I could go back in time I would have never went on it.

Anyone have any similiar experiences with this drug? The pain in your chest, fast heart beat..ect..??

When I went through an intensive inpatient detox the nurses told me if you take Suboxone too soon it will cause you to spiral into terrible W/Ds....so, timing is crucial.  Also, the amount is important because too much, too soon and you spiral into these terrible W/Ds.  I would contact your doc and see if he has given you too much or too soon....Good luck...I am right there with you taking it hour-by-hour.

You are taking too much if you feel that way.. try cutting back to lower doses of 8mgs per day and you will not feel that speediness anymore. I only took at the most 6mgs on the first day.. edgy nervousness is a common side effect of doses higher than 8-12mgs... it affects everyone differently.

Dansorry the subox has you feeling so crappy. It has been working fine for me and has me feeling normal , as far as normal goes for me. Stick around a while theres a lady names fladdict who just came off it, but she's super knowlegable when it comes to the meds and their reactions.

i'm having a hard time with it too.  it's only my 2nd day, and I'm not feeling well yet.  it sounds likr you might be taking too much.  yester day, my first day, I took 24mgs, and my heart was racing.  today i took 12 mgs.  still feeling w/d's.  FLaddict and other's have given me some good advise and support.  FLaddict said that she would be on sometime after 5p est.

Well my doctor put me on 8mg 3x/day...No matter if I take less than that (12mg a day even) makes me feel spaces out, I do sweat like someone else mentioned.  Like way too much! and my heart races. and the pain in the right side of my chest. I called my doctor about this for 3 days and she didnt call me back. So im done with it. I got off my lortab binge and thats all i needed to do. I really hate suboxone. I did like it for the first 5 days or so but I can't even take it anymore.

8mgs 3 times a day seems a lot.  But Hey, If it works for you not having to take it... that's the best anyway!

Yes, FLaddict had success with it but she did go through some discomfort... It would be good to direct questions to her.

My boyfriend is on suboxone...he used to sweat ALL the time, his heart used to race, etc.  His body just had to get used to it.  The only time he has problems now is when he goes down a dose.

I was originally on 8mg 2x a day but i couldn't sleep and I have chronic migraine headaches (always did) and she thought that upping it to one more might help me sleep and help with pain. But anyways, I only took 6mg for the past 2 days and still felt so crapy. I'm done with this, I wish it could have been the miracle drug for me that it seems to be for most of you guys.  I just popped 2 xanax and 3 norcos....not good i guess

Well the norcos won't do anything... be careful with the xanax there have been not so good reports of mixng benzo;s and Sub... If you feel it isn't working for you  start tapering off tommorrow... cut one or two mgs every day to every two days for the next week or so... talk to the doc and see if you can get some clonidine to help with the WD you will feel when you stop..

I didn't start feeling any of the mild symptoms til well after 48 hours without it.. You will be ok with the xanax.. I thought you said you took it with the Sub.. If you stop taking the SUb now without tapering it off.. you may have some WD.  Can you use the norco to taper?? I would hate for you to put in all this effort and then still go through hellish WD's..

i know its dumb what im doing but i really cant take sub. I feel like I have Allergic reactions to it. And i just cant stand it, the taste, the feeling...everything. I have a lil xanax to get through any withdrawals i might get from discontinuing the suboxone. Do you think the tabs will work?
