Suboxone Side Effects and uses

Is suboxone used to keep alcoholics from craving alcohol?  And does using suboxone cause slurred speech and dopey ness?

sub is strictly for opiate addicts...or can also be used for pain purposes.
no sub does not cause slurred speech or dopeyness, and i have never heard if it other than a little bit of tiredness when first starting the sub, but that seems to go away.

Wow. I never heard it used for alcohol withdrawal, or cravings. That does not mean that it isn't, I never heard of it.

If someone is on it and they have blurred speech? Then the dose is incorrect..or something else is going on. None of this sounds right.
