Suboxone Withdrawals

I have been taking 4/mg of suboxone off the street for the last year and a half to stay off opiates "9 yr addiction", I just recently got medicaide and am getting into a clinic, due to no private doctors in the area taking new patients I have to go through what most would call "drug court" although im not in any trouble with the law. I must attend meeting daily before they will put me on them. I have 13 days clean "longest sober time in 6 years" and have my doctor apointment this comming monday 10/17/11. I went through a 7 day inpatient detox i thought i felt fine the day i got out but that was probley the methadone taper still in my system. The next day w/d's came back "tingles, hot/cold, no sleep, anxious, racing heart. This week feels like a month to me, I was wondering how long withdrawls usually are for someone on 4mg of subs for over a yr are? I think im more looking for support then answers so anything possitive will help. If i was to take something now the last 13 days would be for nothing they wont put me on them so im determind not to take, smoke, or drink, anything until my apointment  on 10/17/11. Any advice will help thank you for listening and responding.

Hey don't have a answer for your question but support yeah. I was on methadone for four years. Tried to switch to subboxone but didn't go so well so I stayed on methadone. I came off at 3mgs. I am on day seven off methadone! I feel great! It's been 13 days for you? You don't feel better at all?

are you taking anything for your wd's? I'm still sick from getting off methadone but I feel fine because of the meds. I'm taking

100mg serequel every night for sleep (so helpful)
.2-.4 mg clonodine, (i take .2 in morning and .2 at night, cuts wd's in half)
Plain Tylenol when needed, 0-2 a day (this reduces pain by around 50%)
NightTime Cold medicine, if you can't sleep try this with clonidine/serequel
Immodium for diahrea, only needed it a few times, take when needed

** Once you've done all those and if you still can't sleep or are experiencing intense wd's, see your doctor and get a prescription for the lowest dose of benzo possible for 2-4 weeks. I got the tinniest .5 Ativans 2 weeks worth. I take one in the morning and one at night. This basically helps me get through the worst part, the first two weeks. After that I plan to stop taking the benzos, but continueing with everything else.

I sleep like a baby. I'm always cold, no energy, but other than that I feel pretty decent. I was on a massive dose of methadone/fentanyl and I've done cold turkeys, so I know how serious wd's feel like. This is a walk in the park
