Suboxone detox

My daughter has had a drug addiction to many drugs, went to rehab, but when she came out, went right back to the drugs, her doctor wants to start her on a suboxone detox.  Is this a good idea, since she doesn't do drugs every day, but when she does, she does have withdrawl symptoms because of the inconsistency in use.  I'm also concerned that she isn't ready to stop the drugs and putting her on the suboxone will just be a way for her to get the drugs for free while still using street drugs.

My daughter is 19 now, she lives at home with me.  She is bipolar and is on meds for it.  Two years ago, I put her in an inpatient rehab for six weeks, but she left and did not complete the program.  She did not want to be away from home.  I also tried out patient with her, to no avail.  She is not ready to quit using on her own.  I asked her doctor about using clonidine or depakote for the withdrawl symptoms, but he said that they would not help her at all.  I am very against starting her on the suboxone treatment, but she has the last say on it.

Hi!! How old is she?  Does she still live in your home?  I would be very afraid of suboxone until you've exhausted everything else!
