Suboxone is not for me.

Wow. I started on Mon. 2mg to start then 2mg 4 hrs later. At that point I felt it was too much. I was nauseous, sweating, and an all around zombie. When I woke up this morning I felt even worse so I took a quarter of a 2mg. I then proceeded to feel like **** again. I then went to sleep for 4 hrs. I just woke up and feel a litter better. I guess it did work for the cravings, but cold turkey was almost the same. I had been off of the vics since Sat. afternoon and I only took 3 7.5's then. Think I'm gonna stop. I've missed 2 days of work already and that is what I was trying to avoid. I'm sure it works for most people but it's not for me at all. Right now I can't even think about popping any pill. I feel like ****.

Since my last post I have only taken a total of 2 doses of .5 mg. Even that amt. made me feel too weird. Today is my 5th day and I feel decent. A few WD symptoms here and there but no cravings and able to sleep at night. Guess I couldn't have asked for more. I still have like 14 2 mg's Sub's left and don't think I will be using them. It helped but, it was a battle. That is some strong ****!!!

suboxone does drop your blood pressure rapidly, leading to nausea, fainting, feeling like ****.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just be careful with it starting out!!!

You feel ok on the .5 mg? No w/d or headache, etc? if so, maybe that low dose will work for you. I was taking anywhere from 2 to 8 vics a day, if I could get my hands on it. Not alot compared to some. My doctor put me on 1 1/2 pills a day 8 mg. I take half in morning, half in afternoon, and half early evening (I found they keep me awake at night so I take my last half before dinnertime). He just filled my script for the next month at 1 1/2 per day but starting tomorrow, I am going to go down to 1 per day. Half morning and half mid afternoon.  I want to start trying to taper now. So happy your wife is so understanding.

Yey...a low dose of hydro may have been better to do with a taper or CT...I have never taken sub but tapered quickly and quit...80 mg hydro habit...seems like all this suffering you would be done with WDs by now waiting to get your dose right and all..if you have tried and relapsed it may be a good thing to try and stay on it...let your doctor know how u r feeling...main thing is to get clean tho and sounds like u r trying very hard...u r lucky to have your wife for support

Maybe trying to taper off the Hydro could have worked since you were on such a low dose?Or had you tried that?

Hi. Sorry to hear that.  I went on Sub about 3 months ago. The first couple of days I felt a little queazy and headache and tired, but after that I felt fine.  Maybe dosage too high?  I wish you luck. Keep us posted.

Eww gosh sorry you are having trouble with the sb I have been on it for about 10 days and it made me feel pretty sh** at first too, now I'm ok occasional headache oh bad constipation other than that I'm doing alright on it. Hope things get better for you and I'm so happy your wife is so understanding. Good luck

I was probably a day and a half into W/D's. I had all the aches and sweats of W/D's. It was time. Plus my Dr. said that since I was addicted to such a low dose of Hyrdo, that I didn't have to wait but 12 hrs. I wanted to be sure so I waited alot longer. I've only taken .5 mg's today and I feel ok. A slight headache but not anywhere near where I was yesterday. I'm not the type to complain about much either. I wanted this to work real bad.  So far it has been a nightmare. I have a very supportive and understanding wife though. So at least I have someone there to help while I'm going through this.

Sorry your having such trouble. I also had trouble when I started sub. It took about 4 days to get my dose just right, but when I did it worked great.
