Suboxone vs Norco WD

I successfully got off of Suboxone after about  a month and half being on it-I had been taking Norco, Dilaudid, Kadian.  On the 8th day I felt almost back to normal and then I got into an accident and got horrible headaches.  I took 3 Norco and a few days later 2.  It has been about a week now and I feel like if I don't take the 2 Norco a day-WD.  Should I go back on Suboxone or just taper the Norco.

agree with ibkleen as there r many here who can help u crystal with sub tapering....many here r getting off and as of late it is one of the main reasons people post here....getting off sub has so many variables...and alot depends on how far along u r in recovery and the reasons u got on it in the first place....4 yrs ago it seems as there was not as much knowledge as there is now on the drug..if u have worked ur program and feel "safe" it may be time to taper off...talking to ur sub dr would be one of the very first steps...how much sub r u on at this point in time?   again/explain ur situation...post a new post..there will be more replies

Hi Crystal,

That is a very interesting topic and question you are asking. Instead of posting it here, you may want to start your own post. You would receive much more feedback that way and help so many others.

Why do u feel u need to go back to anything?   2 norco a day is not exactly a dose to go on sub to get off of...r u still in pain?  if not then  why not just try ct and be done..it depends on ur goals..u could also taper but 2 norcos is not an awful lot to taper from..and it doesnt sound like u have been on them long...
