Suboxone

by MedicineMax, Sep 27, 2009 01:20AM
Hi,

I would like to get on Suboxone immediately to get off of my opiates immediately. I'm sure everyone has a different story of where they got theirs and how, but I have NO IDEA.

Where do I go to get Suboxone? How quickly can I get it? Did your insurance help pay for it? I don't even know where to start, ie where do I call, is it the hospital, etc.

Any and all advice and directions will be greatly appreciated. I am dying to become sober and never touch a Norco again.

Thanks.

Suboxone.com....there are a couple of routes (sites)...that's the one i know. They have a doctor search there.  Chances of you getting in with no pills right now.....you will most likely be over the initial W/D by then.  unless you get extremely lucky.  Don't count on it though.....

I don't know what to do then.. I suffer from chronic pain, but do not want to be on opiates anymore, they are disgusting me. Although suboxone is an opiate too, doesn't it have an antagonist property to it so that you don't ABUSE opiates. If I have to be on some sort of medicine for the rest of my life because of my pain, it only seems most reasonable to be on one that cannot be abused.

Pain is not a choice. I did not choose to have my head trauma.

I don't want to be an addict either. This is all very tricky and there is no easy or right way it is seeming. I would do anything for someone to figure out for me what to do as I cannot.

I'm trying guys, I'm really, really trying. I want sobriety, but need pain management. Hopefully I'll find my answer.

Excuse Me!!  Don't ever discourage anyone when you don't know their situation.  Many use suboxone, and sometimes people need it.  Suboxone is a choice, and has saved many lives....too

Please don't discourage give people the freedom of choice by informing them as best you can.

I beg to differ.  There are plenty of success and horror stories regarding suboxone.  I am not an advocate of it, nor do I dismiss it.  It's all about being empowered by knowledge and making informed decisions.  I just try to keep and open mind and not dismiss everything that I personally had a bad experience with.....I don't feel that would be right on my part.

You say Potato, and I say pottattto, and that's okay.

yes subxone.com you can find all the answers your are looking for. How long have you been on hydrocodone for? Most doctors will not put you on suboxone unless your hydro use was very extreme and you have tried several avenues towards sobriety, for buphrenephrine is a much stronger opiate,
