Suboxone

I had a hip replacement a couple months ago and was taken off suboxone while placed on Fentyl patch 50 for the pain.  I was on it for over a month and took off my last patch on Thursday.  I am aware that Fentyl is very very strong so is this why the suboxone isnt taking away all the wthdrawal symptoms like it did when I took it after stopping vicodin?  I know that no ones an expert or Dr. in here, but I was just wondering what some of you might think about my question.

Yeah, I definitely think you are experiencing precipitated withdrawal, from starting Sub too soon after your last Fentyl dose.  I was told by my doctor to wait at least 2 whole days before coming in, and especially if Fentyl is stronger, that makes sense.

Fentanyl is a very stron narcotic..up at the top of the narcotic power list...one day may not have been long enuf to wait..so u may have possibly thrown urself into wd from the fentanyl by taking the sub too soon...a drug like that is often up to 72 hrs to wait to start the sub///but we r all different...did u do this under ur sub drs supervision?  did u feel wd when u started back on the sub?  like sweaty and stuff//u know the drill....it is hard to say..best to call ur sub dr and talk to him or her about it...good luck to u...another possibility is ur old sub dose is not enuf to cover fentanyl....as asked above...what was ur sub dose?  also what was ur original doc and dose?  or is sub ur doc?  lots of questions that ur dr could help u best with..be safe...call ur dr before taking anymore sub tomorrow...keep us posted

my last day with having my fentyl patch on was Thursday.  There was very little medicine in the patch but I was still getting something.  So today (Sat) is actually my 2nd full day off the fentyl.  I know Im miss spelling it...lol.  I had 10 subs left from before the accident.  I started on sub yesterday.  I went almost a full day.  From what my pharmisist told me was the fentynl is much stronger then the sub and thats why Im feeling some withdrawal.  Im going to stop the sub because I might as well just goe through the rest of the edtox and not get hooked on subs.
