I can't really be much help because I have never went the sub route. From reading about it on here I have heard the withdrawals are so much worse than other pain meds. Sub is a very strong opiate. I have read that some recommend only using it for a week or so and start tapering off of it around the 3rd day.
Like I said, I personally don't know much about it. Someone will come along here shortly and help you out. Just be very careful with the sub as it is a replacement. While taking sub make sure you make a complete program out of it by going to na and anything else that will be helpful. Your sub doctor should have already set you up with information about na or even a appointment with a addiction specialist. Aftercare is very important!
Best of luck!
