Yes, plenty of people on here have tried Suboxone. The main thing to remember is that Suboxone only places the addiction into remission for however long you take it. It's kind of like a placeholder for your addiction. So, recovery care is a must so that when you come off you can stay clean. If you have specific questions, feel free to message me.
It doesn't take 4 years to get off of. He probably was on it because he wasn't ready to come off it yet.
Suboxone is a treatment program. You just don't take a pill and thats it. You must attend some kind of support groups like NA meetings and counseling . You have to work at staying clean. It takes some people years before they feel they are ready to leave the sub program. There are some on it for life. It does have a higher success rate than methadone.
I've been on it for 11 months and it has saved my life. I dont seek out drugs. I have money now . I'm myself again. You don't get high off of sub you just feel normal.
I hope this helps you some. I will answer any question you have about sub.
Good Luck
Jessica
I am not on it right now. But wonder why it takes 4 years to get off of?
Hi mhfla, Welcome to the forum.
There are many people here who have tried suboxone. I was on it for nearly 4 years and it definitely saved my life. Are you on suboxone right now or going through withdrawal and considering that option?
