Suboxone

I started suboxone Sunday after being on pain meds for three years (percs) due to a shoulder injury. The suboxone works great I started taking 3 a day 8mg and already only take two. The problem I have is that I still have alot of pain and my job is doing tree work so by the end of the day my shoulder is killing me. The reason why I started taking suboxone is to get my life back. Every week it was where am I going to get something? It gets old. I didnt know if there is a non narcotic pain med I could take with the suboxone or if I just have to deal with it? It feels so good  not to be on pain meds and I feel so much happier cause I do feel like I have control of my life finally any help with the non narcotics would be great!!

John, I am truly thankful that things are going your way! What a relief. I think you should post about getting stabilized. It seems some are still not being dosed properly. It is also really good just to see you here.:)  :)

You can take tylenol or motrin and the effects are better due to the narcotic in the suboxone. I tried this the other day for a headache and I was amazed. I felt better all over. All my little aches and pains were gone along with the headache. The doctor told me this would happend and he was right. Wow the doctor was right LOL

I don't have the answer for you b/c I don't have sub experience but I wanted to bump your post up and when it gets a little later in the morning there will be more people on and hopefully someone w/sub experience can help you.

I do know (i don't know if you can take it w/sub) that the tylenol arthritis is awesome and the bayer back and body is also. But I don't know about mixing w/the sub.
Congratulations on the decision to take your life back into your own hands!
