Subs?

Hi I was on subs for 31 days.  I feelt great most the time on the mental side but I kept falling asleep.  While driving thesleepy pull down was so bad I had to pull over.  At work I took naps all day.  I never felt like I got any sleep.  I went off because of this.  I did tell the doc but I don't think he got it.  Was I maybe on to high a dose?  I would like to try again.  I was helping me.  Anyone else have this problem?

What exactly would you like to TRY again?  Are you on or off subs now?   Being sleepy all day isn't normal and driving is really dangerous if you're nodding off.  Please more info if you can... So many on the forum have much experience with subs and can share with you.

*I read your post again and I get your question.   You want to take the subs again but hate the sleepiness.   What dose were you taking?   Maybe talk to your Dr./nurse again and be very clear...

To avisg,  I am now back on the Norco and hating it.  It doesn't make me feel happy anymore.  I went to the subs to get my life back.  I could see hope there but just couldn't handle being so tired.

I now am taking 10/325 norco about 6-10 per day.

I want to get clean forever.  I woud like to try subs again but with more information this time.  Maybe a much lower dose would work.   I would like to restart them this week.  I was on 8mg when I quit. I a looking for others who have done the subs and who are willing to share their journey with me.  

I really want to be clean!

Good for you! Wanting to stop forever is a great beginning!   I have no personal experience with sub. However, there are many posts by others who do!

A suggestion: Speak to your Dr. again about the sub and ask questions. Go with questions written down so you don't forget.  Also, go through the forum and read what others have said or asked. Read the related discussions at the end of the posts.  All this may help you.  What about family,friends? Do you have support?

If you were taking 8mgs a day for between 60 and 100mgs of hydro it was probably  high .
Are you sure you want to go on sub for 60mg to 100mgs of hydro a day sub is far stronger and addicting as well.How long are you planning on taking it ? Have you lined up any recovery care .Have you tryed tapering off the hydro ?
