Hello, tylenol is generally not good for headaches because it has no anti-inflammitory properties...have you tried excedrine???it is a very usefull med for headaches...combination of aspirin, aceteminophin(tylenol),and caffeine..or an Nsaid like motrin,advil,naprosyn...unless you have allergies to these meds they would be more useful than plain tylenol. there are alot of other people who are on here that will give you some great info on what they have also used and what worked and was not addictive.
good luck.
I guess my question is, "Is it okay to take Tylenol,Excedrin, etc. to alleviate these headaches or am I just becoming addicted to these drugs also?"
These are rebound headaches and they do eventualy go away.Yes you can take what works best for you and youll be ok!They are terrible arent they?Im on day 4 ct.wds.and cant get any releif!!Good luck my friend.. Jerri
Hi, about a month ago 20/20 (I believe), did this segment on these "rebound" headaches. There story was very interesting, but bottom line was... any of the over the counter headache remedies actually can cause headaches! It is a vicious cycle of having a headache and taking a painreliver, and then getting a headache from your body now wanting a constant supply. This applies to narcotic and over the counter ones as well. The cycle must be broken to free yourself! Good Luck, and for more info follow link below.

I just wanted to say hello .... and I appreciate everything you guys wrote about ultram withdrawal down in the "basement" ....
I hope all the people that have ultram issues or past experience can stick together. We need each other! If I could actually ask a question here I would keep the ultram situation in the forfront, but maybe someone else will start a new ultram thread ... stay kool, ***@****
