Subutex Hell Help

Subutex Hell Help

I have taken Suboxone or Subutex for over 3.5 years.  How long of a cold turkey withdrawal am I seriously looking at here?  I just took my last one yesterday.  Not started withdrawal yet.  Please tell me how to make it easier.  I am begging for all of your help.  Opiates are killing me!  I have a beautiful life and I don't want to shorten it for my daughter and fiance.  My parents are helping me to.  The only problem is that I have this week off of work only!  Can I do this in one week??

You didn't say how much Sub you were taking --- normally you would taper but with only  a week, it will be difficult -- not fatal but you will feel like death warmed over --- wish you all the best.  I totally understand your desire to be free of Sub.  Keep posting - it helps -- and keep reading the other posts.

Yes I would also ask how much you are jumping from.  But in short, everyone is different. I would say that you will have withdrawal cause Im not going to lie to you.But ochooked is right- it wont kill you.  Being on sub, obviously you know what withdrawal is as you were likely trying ot avoid it by starting sub in the first place so you know what to expect. Many people think sub wd is less severe than other opiate withdrawal but all agree it can last longer.  For me sub wd was more severe than other opiate withdrawal and did indeed last longer but many have gotten through it. I went back to work around day 11 or 12.  It wasnt easy by any stretch of the imagination but I mushed through.  If you have a week off work - couple that with the weekend and you should be capable of getting back to work.  It also helps in that getting back to life and not sitting around obsessing over how miserable you feel.  Exercise helped a lot and as soon as I was able to, around day 7 I guess, I started taking walks.  Please stay strong.  And congrats on jumping off the sub train.  Posting helped me  alot and it was so important to meto be on here talking to people and not stuck in my own head.  Good luck and take care

Yes I had my last dose on Saturday about 4 mgs.  I still don't feel to bad considering some of the other stuff I have been through.  I realize that I didn't wean long enough but I had tried that and always failed.  I am very desparate and I am weeping.  No one in my family understands.  They think I am just jonesing and being a baby.  **** Them.  I love them but they just don't understand.  How could they.  My fiance still expects me to go to the store every day and My dad still expect me to answer business calls and complaints.  I just feel like telling everyone to **** off.  i can't do this without a guarantee of no respionsibility.  Help!

You start feeling really bad withdrawals after about 7-14 days. YOU HAVE TO WEAN.  IT IS LIKE COMING OFF OF HEROIN.   I been off a month, my eyes are burry, I am shaky, Bad Dreams.  No more sweats.  I am anxious and emotional.  Just do it slowly or you will crash and not beable to make it through the day.  DO NOT DRIVE WITH THESE WITHDRAWALS.
