TY to those who have posted about Hydrocodone withdrawals

Lemme 1st say that this is the 1st time ive ever posted on a forum like this. I just wanted to say to all those who have given support to others on here.
I first started taking hydrocodone to help relieve terrible headaches that i would get(unprescribed). Then i started to take them preemptively. And before i knew, it was routine something to look foward too. One when i wake up, and 4-5 around 8pm.
Growing up i never tried any sort of drugs.  Ive always been told that addiction runs in my family.  Honestly i think that if i knew how addictive Hydrocodone was i dont think ( at least hope) i would have ever started.
It took me a couple years to admit to myself that i was hooked.  1st time i tried to go "cold turkey" it was the absolute worst feeling i had ever been through ( about 6 months ago).  I had many of the symptoms so often described on here. How easily to start back.  Then i started back knowing that i had to remove this dominate force from my life.  After getting laid off (totally unrelated) i vowed to quit.  It has been 12 days since my last Tab. I took a cpl morphine a day for the 1st week( honestly i dont like them at all) Honestly they helped taper with the withdrawals symptoms.
It has now been 5 days from any opiates at all (which is where i really started). Oh and what a long 5 days :)
The only things really bothering me at this point are slight MUSCLE TENSIONS and INSOMNIA, if anyone can help with any OTC recommendations it would be appreciated (the tylenol sleep doesnt help).
TY all for allowing me to vent this. TY to anyone that read
