Tapering- so far, so good!

Tapering- so far, so good!

As I stated in my prior post, i have been tapering for 3 weeks from about 200 mg oxycodone daily, to a lil' over 90 mg a day now. For the past 3 days, I have had a consistant headache, which I know is a part of withdrawl (withdrawal). Just lookin for advice on how long anyone who has done this, should I stay on my current dose so my body can stabalize and then I can start my wean again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!! God Bless!

I am also tapering, off of 10-12, 7.5 Vics daily. I started to taper in the beginning of July and Iam now down to about 35 mgs. I have found the first three days of lowering my dosage to also have a lingering headache and also a slight problem with running to the bathroom. What I have been doing is waiting for my body to adjust to the lower dosage, then give it a rest for about two or three days and then lower the dose again. I am doing this taper very slowly but I am wondering if when I finally get down to taking nothing if I will suffer any major w/d's. I guess only time will tell. But I am hoping by doing it this way it will be easier when I finally jump off. So my advice would be to stay at your current dosage until you feel ok, then lower again. Good luck and may God Bless all struggling with this horrible addiction!!!
