Tapering Down

Hey guys, I have a question. Im doing one to two oxycodone 30mgs at max a day. I have been through the bad withdrawls before. I have good self control and want to taper down so that the wd's are not as harsh as they were. Does anyone have a good method for tapering off medication like oxycodone. I know im not doing much compared to some but one a day is too many for me and I really am ready to be done with these. Anything would help. Thanks

Are the tabs scored? If so, you could cut them in half and go from 60mg per day down to 45mg per day. Then in a week (pending on your supply) you could taper down to 1, 30mg, then go to a half (15). After that you should be able to even cut it into three pieces and try to get down to 5mg per day. If you can get down to 5mg per day you've done awesome and are as ready as you will ever be to jump off. Typically I drop my dose every week but when you get down under 60mg per day it becomes difficult because you'll want to taper 5 to 10mg per week so you don't feel all that bad but when all you have is 30's you don't really have a choice.
