Hi David  just thought I would touch base ....your taper is a fast one so just be ready for it to hit anytime  keep in mind this drug has a 36hr 1/2 life so you may not feel the drop in dose for a couple of days....I would continue just the way it is until the withdrawals become unmanageable then scale back....I did a really fast taper off 150mg it only took 8 1/2 mo  if I had listen to the clinic it would have taken over 2yrs!!!! I said know way I will do it my way.....I do believe now I payed a price in the end but who is to say it would have been just as bad on a slow taper....over the last 6yrs of helping people off this drug those that go with the slower tapers seam to have it ezer in the end so dont rush it once you get in the 20s keep posting for support

For me the last 10 mg where the hardest.  I breezed through the rest of it but took it very slow once I hit 10, every time I went down 1mg I felt it once under 10.  I had a support system set up and people to call and it was definitely manageable.  Hang in thrrr and start putting things in place for when the hard times come.

hii david.....so it sound like your  body is handling the taper well so far.....just keep in mind that your % of drop keeps getting larger....we cannot give taper advise here on thee forum itis agenst the rules  just  know you will probably have to slow it down soon to avoid withdrawals  for most it starts getting hard around 20mg so just take your time...let your body be the final judge in dropping dose...where hear for you keep posting for support

I am finding my drinking is going up a bit..:-(
hi Daid.....well drinking is not a good  idea...if I had a nickel fir every body that went back to there drug of choice that started with just 1 drink i wouldent have to work next year....I have seen it happen to guys with 10+ years clean this is a slippery slope your on....alcohol is a drug and you have to stop all  drugs in order to recover...also keep iin mind that alcohol drops your inhibitions and wile on a buzz from it we make poor decisions  it is also ez to get cross addicted replacing our drug of choice with another....once you study addiction you will quicky realize it is not about the drug at all it is about the relaxing and escape you crave....please think long and hard about this...as always keep posting for support....some times  I will say something you dont like to here but it is better now to here it b/4 it becomes  a problem

Yes!!!  Don't do it David!  Drinking is not a good idea.  Your body and brain need time to heal and neither can heal properly if your drinking.
