Thank you. No more pills for me

by DanielleLeigh, Dec 28, 2006 12:00AM
I wanted to thank everyone! I took my last 10mg/325 hydro 2 nights ago. Last night was rough but I managed to get through it. I had the twitchy legs and achey (achy) muscles. I ended up taking a bath at midnight and that seemed to help alot. I wanted to thank everyone that has been so supportive on this website. I don't know if I would have been able to do it with you all. Thank you all so much. I will keep you all posted on how I am doing. :-)

Wow!  Thank you for the encouragement.  There is a tremendous feeling of freedom when you hit about week 2.  I was so frightened by the future before and could not believe that I had become an addict (to put it bluntly).  Yeah, I do have occasional back pain.  That may have started my affair with Norco, but I was taking it just for the "feel good."  I remember going to meet my fiance's parents and having to find ways to take my Norco without my fiance or anyone else seeing me do it.  I thought I'd be in rehab someday, but, thank God, I found out I could get off of hydrocodone at home.

Anyway, that's all over now.  Back pain calls for ibuprofen or Alleve, etc. and a nice, warm bath.

Hang in there everybody!
