Just wanted to say thanks for all the help and support.  Lizzie had asked me why I had not been posting a lot lately and its really becaue I cant get past the 3 pills a day. I just got a e-mail from a old friend of mine that explained to me that these forums are for people that intend to quit.  I am just not in that place right now.  He had told me that I was a people user because I think I drained him emotinally with all the emails we would write to each other.  But, I guess I am just using this forum and I dont belong here anymore.  You guys been great.  Everyone has been so supportive and there for me.  I want to stop the cycle...Peace G

where are you going?  don't leave like this.  so many ppl can get alot from you...you have always been so kind and compassionate to everyone. always ready with a listening ear. you cant just leave like this. anyway..there are quite a few ppl here that are still on their medicines, or doc if you prefer. i dont post very often at all, but i have been lurking around here for quite a few months now, and i think everyone here, in whatever stage they happen to be in, has something worthwhile to post that may indeed help someone struggling at any given moment. so, please, rethink your decision and pls dont leave. i know there will alot of ppl really upset to see you go....truly....cin

OMG!! You are a major part of this forum. You have helped me so much. I agree with
badeggs. Please don't let anyone make you feel like you don't belong here.
They don't know what the hell they're talking about. Ask the people here
if we want you to leave. The answer is a big NO!!

So what if you're at a place in your addiction that is taking a little time??
You're not a machine. I would love to know who took it upon himself to tell
you these damaging and very wrong things. You have a tender heart and you help all
you can. Think of how many people you have helped get through a very bad day. My
tapers are far between also, but I get my support here.

It hurts me so badly to know you have been hurt. I am begging you
not to leave, but if you do please take care and get away from the jerk that's

These forums are for support, compassion, and encouragement. All of which I have seen you give to others here. You are not a people user, you are a people helper.
You will quit the pills when YOU are ready...and when YOU are able to.
Don't let someone put you down like that....you have been there for alot of people. I know I haven't been posting much lately, I have been very depressed over the loss of my friend. But, I still come here occassionally to read, and I always see you give nothing but love and support to people.
I don't think you should leave.

I think that any help you can give to others is a step in the right direction in your recovery, i read your posts all the time and i think i would be a major loss to this forum if you stopped posting. you have helped more people than you think. she SHOULD keep coming in here if it helps her no matter what someone says but you folks should remember that when people post here its THEIR story and only theirs,,if she"s still using then maybe she"s not telling EVERYTHING,,I know when I"m using I"m not the most honest person even if that means only telling SOME of my story. Maybe her friend is a personal friend that knows her ,,her family,,her life ( she said old friend ) way better then you folks do. If she hasnt used you,,then great but maybe this old friend is using tough love cause she"s used every other way to no avail. Like I said,,welcome her with open arms but dont judge others if your not judging her gl ..we ALL need help with this monster

no need to tell my story,,this forums like a na meeting,,,many that post have told my story already and I wasnt trying to be harsh with addictrdtolortab but she said " old friend " not ex friend so I"m thinkin that maybe there is love between the two and her friend is speaking out of frustration. I believe its very hard to come to grips with a loved one being addicted to or an addict and there emotions range from sorrow, anger, love, sadness ,  and after time it goes from" what can I do to what CAN I do,,I"ve tryed everything",,then its frustrating and they"ll try ANYTHING right or wrong. I hope she"ll take everyones advice and stay here cause when all the non addicts get" frustrated "she can come in here where the addicts understand her.

NO this is BS this is not a loved one it is someone I knew from NA who I came to trust in the last couple of months. NEVER WAS THERE LOVE, NEVER!!!!  ALL we did was email about our lives nothing sexual nothing out out a girl that was married...  This makes me ferious because I guess I will be using this forum because this guy is going to call the pharmamcy board and tell him I was doctor shopping,, OK, you want it, you got it.  I quit using pills only because I have a obssesed snitch up my butt.  I was using 3 pills a day, but because spectacular NA person, supposedly working the program and clean is going to drop a dime on me,. Go ahead,, This makes me mad because I would NEVER EVER cheated on my husband.  According to him with pills.  This guy is a now a judge, lol.. He has no kids and he is not even working because of a back injury and asked me for a sure place that would give him pills.  I told him some places and now he is going to turn me in,,, NEVER will I go to NA AGAIN, Never,,, Thank you for all the support,,,,, See you in the morning in WDs but on his terms,,Nice friend huh,,, Oh , let me clarify, X friend... just cause I said love doesnt mean I meant sexual,,I assumed you were married female and she was your FRIEND and as far as never going to aa or na or whatever u said .I suppose if you didnt like someone in church ( or they offended u ) then you wouldnt go to church anymore,, work if it was at your work ,,pta if she was there ?
