The Sleep Question

by Sarah231, Apr 26, 2008 07:47PM
I wanted to know and I see many others here often ask..."How long til I sleep again?"

Well, of course everyone is different, but I finally slept somewhat normally (finally) on about day 23.
So, I've now had 2 nights of actual sleep.

Wonderful.

I stll feel antsy during the day, though.
Will that go away soon? I'm hoping that's not just the way I feel when not on pain pills.

Everyone is different...for me loss of sleep was not part of my withdrawal...i was also a hydrocodone user...mine was more of an excess sleep problem...get some excerise during the day...you seem to be coming out of it and sleeping now...i feel for those who can not sleep during wds...think back on everything u did the  last 2 nights u slept well and include them in your routine...good luck and happy u r sleeping

While mostly all my withdrawl symtoms are gone, I still have issues sleeping, I fall asleep & wake up & think to myself, geez, I think I slept most of the night, then I look at my alarm clock & one hour has passed!!  I try to go back to sleep but its a struggle. I cant wait to sleep again, normally!! Penelope

Well, it seems the sleep thing does NOT follow a straight line of going away.

Last night I felt just like I did last week.
Restless legs, restless arms. Laid awake tossing and turning til about 4 am.

withdrawal s#cks.
