The fall/winter r/t depression & addiction.

I was wondering last night, that since the fall and winter are coming, how many folks are concerned about relapsing during these darker months, when they'll be trapped in-doors more and seasonal affective disorder hits some folks (because of less sunlight).  Lots of people are aware of triggers, but it came to mind that some folks might not be considering this one.  I thought it might be worth mentioning.

hi jacqui, i actually think for me it's a bit easier in the winter, i hibernate  more so im not out with triggers and all that stuff. this summer has been the most boring ever, but it's what i needed to do to stay clean. it is true that winter months can add to depression, but when you live in an igloo, it's hard to buy blow, haha. get that back better jacqui

As a tanner up here in the sunny (yeah right) state of Washington. I highly recommend indoor tanning. You don't have to overdo it to counter the affects from SAD.

Jacqui, I IMd you.

I agree with gizzy ...LOL.  The furthest I go is to the Mall and back and in the winter, in OHIO, no one wants to go outside.  Looks like we'll  just have to have a fall/winter party in here to keep our spirits up!!!  ...that's a hint to those of you who are active on the social side lol!!
