This is day 49. Think I'll stop counting days

Simply because I want to try not to think about pills in those, or any terms other than those that I can't control at times. I'm sure I'll have cravings from time to time, and that will be enough thinking of them for me. At least not counting is one less way for me to keep them off my mind.

I ain't afraid of the devil himself. I lived with one of his daughters too long for that. It's just become another habit that has reached it's end. Yes, I remember we started day one together I'm glad you are doing so well. I believe that I am through for good. Best wishes

I think you should stop. I am clean from the last 100 days. Oops! I just counted.

Its time you move on. I am trying to do the same.

broknbck: Yes, I'm feeling pretty good. Still some days are better than others, but don't normal people feel the same? I've been using so long, it's actually hard to remember, but I'm sure I had up & down days before the drugs. Thanks to all of you for your responses.

Can you believe that you can now count months instead of days. Not to long ago that would have been unthinkable. Stay strong i`m still rite behind you........

I am counting months too. Far easier to do. Although, congrats on day 49. The first two months it seems that each day or week there are changes.

I don't blame you.  I don't count days, I just go by months.  It is easier and for some reason it feels like a longer period of time when you count months.  Or atleast it does to me.

Congrats Jack

I agree that counting just means another thought about pills but it does have a postitive side to it. Won't it be wonderful when you can say I've been clean for 365 days!! I have to say congradulations on your clean time and you're a valued friend that's given me some good advice! Keep up the great work!!

Good idea. Those pills have already taken up way too much of our time and energy.

Better to think about more positive things. I stopped counting at like 12 days. But every once in a while i like to look at the calender and add up the months.

Are you feeling pretty good by now?
