Today is a littel shaky.  Day 4.  Not sure what this afternoon holds.  Mid day until about 4 is my bad time of day.  Making dinner for a friend with a new baby today.  God help me get through cooking part.  and the delivery part.

You can make it, having something to do might well help.  Day 4 is tough but hang in there. Days just get easier from here!

It's day 12 now (c/t from vike). I have to say that I am feeling ok, but I haven't got the "good" sleep back yet. The past few days I go to bed at ~10pm and fall asleep (right away) for about 45 minutes, then can't sleep/toss and turn. So I get up for abou 45 minutes, then try again. Same thing ... 45 minutes of sleep, then toss and turn. Finally by around 3am I am able to sleep until 7:30 or 8am and have crazy, wild dreams.

I think that if I were able to sleep straight for 7-8 hours I would feel much better/have more energy. I am eating well, etc. Not willing to take any sleep medication ... I was taking an ambien at night on top of the vike for three weeks before I quit.

I used to take the vike in the evening, and I am having some trouble keeping my mind occupied with things other than vicodin during the evening (usually if I am just sitting around). I think I just have to mentally get over the fact that I won't be taking it anymore and that drug-free is my new routine. I WILL NOT take that **** anymore.

My head is definately much clearer ... just waiting for a full night's sleep.

I'm still hanging in there at day 6.....don't feel at all well.....very unsettled but a little better everyday......went to an NA meeting today.....sorry to say its not my cup of tea but I am still of the mindset that I'm don't with that garbage....I still want it.....but won't do it!
