I have an appt with my pain mgt doc today.  I am coming clean with him and asking for clonodine.  I am addicted to roxys and have never been more ready to quit!  Your posts are an inspiration and i am asking for prayers that he will be compassionate and willing to help.  I am so excited to be a sober mother for my 2 kids!  Who would have thought the day would come when I was more excited to be clean than obtain a refill?!  Much love to all of you as this site has truly been a god send!

I personally think it's too bad she didnt give u clonodine because thats what u came for and I keep reading it helps. I was also rejected for clonodine by the ER doc because he said it might counter act with high blood pressure or something. He was hesitant to give me Klonopin for my panic attacks so he only gave me a few pills. He also gave me zofran for nausea which i dont really need coz I dont get nausea during wds but u should consider it if u get nausious or vomit alot. The klonopin does nothing for me so both bottles r just sitting on the shelf.

Still take the vitamins and aminos, they really do help. Hang in there n keep posting. (even if it has to be from your phone if your internet is down such as myself lol)

I honestly don't know how to feel.  I was switched from 4 norco a day 2 weeks ago....to 3 roxy 15's   day, 2 weeks ago.  Long story short....i was told that I shouldn't experience withdrawals from the roxys cuz they have such a short half life and that the norco is already outta my system.  huh??  ok....so then i was told the clonodine is only rx'd for extreme cases (im assuming oxycontin and the like?).  when i said they restless legs, insomnia, and anxiety are what get me....i was given a rx for klonopin.  i hate benzos...so i'm not worried about those.  so i guess when i run out in a couple days, time will tell??  im so confused right now.  she wants to see me back in 2 weeks but said to call if i need them before that.  i smell b***shot.  my friend mailed me 3 clonidine patches that i am waiting for but dont want to take without my bp being monitored.  so honestly....at the moment.....i am sitting here dumbfounded.

My prayers are with you. I'm on day 1 and although it ***** I know with every symptom my body is getting better. I also have to come clean. I did try the docs office but got no answer. If I can't get through today I'll drag myself in tomorrow. Let me know how it goes, I want to get some clonidine too. Hoping doc will give me some.
