Tramadol Question

My dr. stopped my vicodin today and gave me tramadol has anyone used it ? will it help with my W/d's?

When I was going through w/d from fentanyl pain patches my dr. gave me a script for ultram (tramadol.) It was to help with the w/d symptoms. I started noticing people posting that were addicted to tramadol so I didn't use it. I'm glad I didn't because I'm 31 days clean and never used anything. I was afraid I would become addicted to the tramadol and have to taper off of it. Yes, drs. do give it to help with w/d. Try not to use it but if you have to don't take any more than you have to.

I have been addicted to Ultram for 11 years sooo BE CAREFUL.
