Tramadol addiction so bad I'm having seizures/fits , HELP

I've not been on here for a long time some may remember me , back then I was addicted to codeine and successfully came off CT .
Since then I was diagnosed with crohns disease and pain an diarrhea controlled my life !
I was put on steroids and tramadol , supposed to take 8 a day .
2 yrs down the line I'm on dihydrocodeine 120mg slow release 3 a day but I take up to 10 a day
And the 30 mg dhc normal 8 a day but again I take too many and tramadol 50mg 8 a day an I take 30+++
On sat just gone I collapsed in a shopping centre an had a full grand mal seizure ( I'm not epileptic) in front of my husband an kids !!
An ambulane was called an I refused to go to hospital in case I got found out .
I'm in a desperate situation an need help plz can any one advise me on where to start before I seriously end up killing myself .

I totally agree with all the above,30 plus a day is way too many. You are at risk of more seizures with this drug, especially with taking that amount. You need to see your doctor very soon and tell them the truth so you can get the help you need.I totally understand not wanting to be found out but you really don't have an option.Again, for your kids sake and yourself please see your doctor and be honest.Take care

Oh NO!  I had seizures on tramadol.  Had a grand mal seizure at the wheel.  You do NOT want that.  I still have the rods and pins in my body from it today!

You may be scared of being found out, but you have GOT to have some help with this before you kill yourself or someone else!  It's imperative that you get help.  If you have to then go to another doc who doesn't know you and tell them what's going on.  You have to be honest to get the right help.  You don't have to tell them an exact number, but you need to be honest about taking too much and having the seizure.  Ok?  Promise me?  I'm super worried about this.  I scared my kids half to death having seizures in front of them.  You don't want this to take over your life and BE your life from here on out, right?

Hi Jenny,
I don't know anything about tramadol but I did google it and it can definitely cause seizures, especially in high doses.  It can also in rare cases cause seizures in people who are taking as low as 100mg.
If you tell your doctor you had a seizure it doesn't mean you are abusing your meds.  While you really, really should be honest with your doctor, just tell him that you had a seizure and go from there.
I don't think you have a choice here.  You need to see a doctor right away.
Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing.

I think she means killing herself accidentally...

Jenny- you've been struggling for quite awhile and taking these amounts of Tramadol for over a year!  You'll continue to have seizures until you cut these amounts down. You're taking way too much!

Can you get some medical help with this? You're too young to be in this condition and please think of your two kids!  You need help now and I think it's past anything we can do on the forum. You need a doctors' taper plan and meds for the seizures.

In the meantime, don't drive a car. It's too dangerous right now.

Keep posting-
