"The analgesic action of tramadol is not fully understood, but it is believed to work through modulation of serotonin and norepinephrine in addition to its relatively weak μ-opioid receptor agonism. The contribution of non-opioid activity is demonstrated by the fact that the analgesic effect of tramadol is not fully antagonised by the μ-opioid receptor antagonist naloxone."
Have you experienced wd's taking the two together?
Taking methadone and Vicodin together or taking methadone and heroin together is not "fine". Not sure where you got that information or why you're asking?
Tramadol is the worst to come off of!!!! I was on that and Norcos for over 10 years and let me tell you it was horrible I went C/T! If you look up tramadol with drawls they are really bad!
So are you saying you are taking both of them right now??Do you plan on getting off of them?? I have over a year from a 12yr methadone ride..Methadone is very synthetic and so are Trams. They are the worse drugs, from my opinion, to come off of. Here is little on Trams.
Trams is a weak u-opioid receptor agonist. It is a serotonin releaser and a reuptake inhibitor of norepinephrine..It is a SNRI..also.
There fore it is like taking 2 meds in one.
I am not sure I really understand..Why or What!
