Tramadol sideaffects, whilst under the influence not w/d

So has anybody had any of these three side affects whilst taking tramadol? Firstly I find myself really itchy all over my body throughout the time I am under the influence, never after the high has faded.

Secondly I sometimes find it impossible to go to the toilet, 1's and 2's. I take about 200-250MG a day but only for the last 2 days. I took tram for a week about 3 weeks ago though for a different injury to the one I have now.

Lastly, I find it impossible to orgasm during sex, well near enough. Me an my partner had sex 3 nights in a row, each time lasting around 2 hours and I did not climax until the 3rd night...

Is this just me or has anyone else experienced these side affects because I am curious to know.

So,all together,how the heck long have you been on Tramadol?  Weren't you just getting off Valium or something?

Opiates will mess with many bodily functions.You probably should get with your doctor.

I am still tapering valium yes, down to 20Mg a day now from a peak of 400MG. I had an ccident at the beach 4 days ago where I was standing on this huge rock and slipped. It had many crustaceans on it so it was basically a slippery cheese grater. I had to get stitches in various places and tramadol here over the counter is 30baht for a 10 strip of 50MG, which is about a dollar.. I have been taking them this time for 2 days, but 3 weeks ago I took them for a week and I did not pass any solids for that period and it took me sometimes up to 10 minutes to urinate.

um, not daily no. But right now I am drinking some rice wine, sato as we speak.

Your body is pretty stressed. You know that,right?  I'm not a wizard but you were on a ton of Valium and who knows what problems that created! You're a young guy...if this continues you need to see somebody. In the meantime,maybe some of the guys with Tramadol experiece will post.

Are you getting enough liquids?  Taking a stool softener?

Tramadol will do all these effects your having to you. It is a synthetic opoid so it works just like a regular opoid. I am on 4mg of Dilaudid 6 times a day for my chronic pain. It makes me itchy and also since starting pain medicine I have had the same problems down there (if you know what I mean). Usually the harder it is to urinate the more medicine is in your system. Also, valium could have a big part of this. Valium will increase the effects of the tramadol because both are are a CNS (central nervous suppressant) meaning it slows your heart rate down. When you have sex, your heart rate is skyrocket and your body is releasing endorphins naturally whereas the tramadol is releasing endorphins already at a MUCH larger scale. Thus, being why your not being able to orgasim. Also, just to warn you, I have been on a ton of pain meds from tramadol to Oxycontin for my pain condition. Coming off of percocet while my doctor was away on vacation for a week was a walk in the park compared to coming off tramadol. Try to taper yourself off of it slowly. Every three days take away one pill from your daily dose. This will make you not have bad withdrawl (withdrawal) from it. Hope this helps!

yea thanks vicki, it has helped. I do not have anymore tramadol now, I ate my last 5 already today and don't really plan on buying anymore. I have only been taking them for 2 days so I guess I will have no withdraws that are too serious. I tapered valium pretty damn fast with little symptoms.
