Get this, its been years ago but my family doc (had the nerve) to write a script for Tramadol 50 mg, one every 8 hours. Cruel joke for a trying to heal Damaged Sciactic Nerve on left side & Sciatica on both!!! I never saw her again.
Sounds like u have a good plan! Proud of you! I took Tramadol at least a year but I wasn't gettin it the correct way (know what I mean?). I finally got up the nerve & told my Psych all about it. He surprised me. I always expect the worst from docs, no matter what kind of MD they are. I got the bottle out of my bag and he quickly snatched it away (like I thought he'd let me keep it). He wasn't pleased at that web co. I was horrified but he put me on Sub. I said " am I gonna go into WD?" Nope! Really? I was taking 8 to 10 Tramadol each day. Take one Sub twice a day. Really? I sounded like an idiot I know! Lol. No WD not any at all. I felt so happy & grateful he was my doc.
ok, I'm going to go to 7. I just hope the withdrawals are not that much worse than Sunday, the day after I dropped from 9 to 8. 7 per day, my favorite number, 7! Yea, I started quitting at about 15 per day really. I took 15 per day for at least a year - year and a half. And it has been going kinda slow. No need to make it too slow. I should be ok, at 7 this Saturday. I'm not exactly wooohooo..ing though!
You are still fine going down a whole pill.tapering is not going to get rid of all of your WD just make them bearable.7 is only one pill off the max dose you now
