Does anybody know how to survive this addition?

Yes. I have survived it. That was my drug of choice for many years. It caused hell. I was taking 36-40 pills nightly. When I got to rehab they asked how my kidneys didn't fail. Honestly, I believe I am blessed. That's one of the major things it can harm is your kidneys. Most people notice they can't urinate while high on the drug. I stopped the drug cold turkey on December 11, 2011. I have been sober since. It has been a tough road. I would be lying to you if I tell you I don't still crave. Honestly, the cravings are manageable with 4+ years under my belt of sobriety. At first it was a struggle every day. Now I get cravings maybe a couple times a year which are easily defeated by doing something else (I like crafts). This drug is a horrible drug.
