Trying to avoid a relapse....

by monkeyfeet, Dec 28, 2006 12:00AM
I'm on day 4. I feel really good physically. Emotionally though I'm all a wreck. I did a stupid thing that got me in this position to wuit and now i am paying for it. I'm upset and all i want is to take a few pills and not feel pain, physical or emotional. I've been on these things so long i forgot what its like to have real emotion. I just hope i can find the strength to fight those demon. Thank you for listening to me

Hi Monkeyfeet, I was doing pretty good, but relapsed and took three pills...I'll start over this weekend and hopefully I can taper off these white devils.

Good luck and if you decide to eat one or two, don't beat yourself up too bad - just start over.

Good luck - I think we're all in the same boat here, but at least we're doing much, much better.  I really cut down my use just by being on this forum.

Hey TB. I left you a taper. But the hard part about tapering is will-power.

Hi Monkeyfeet, this is day one for me.  I was up to takin 12 7.5 vicoprofen yesterday, 6 of those at night for me to sleep.  After I put them in my mouth I said I never want to do it again.  If I can make through today and tomorrow I think i will continue to beat this on my own.  But if i can't deal with the painful aches in my legs, i will end up starting over and using the taper that matine gave me.  Within the past two minutes i have developed a new symptom from the w/d.  horrible sneezing and runny nose.  I think the respritory symptoms also might be contributed to the ambien. I wish you luch and hope we can all come out this learning that we do not want to be back here in 3 6 or even 12 months.
