Trying to get my life back from Oxycontin

Been selfmedicating for the past 3 years w/Percosets,Vicodin and Oxycontin,never dreamed
of any real serious complications,as most were average doses obtained from friends and the
Oxy being supplied by my doctor.
Finally caught up to me in the form of depression and just plain lack of interest in about everything.
Recently discussed a withdrawel program with my doctor after I was honest with him.
Would like to hear from those with similar interests,and possible suggestions on withdrawal.

Thanks for the note. I am on mostly opiates, strong ones. I have chronic pain and if i don't take med's I can't hardly walk so what do I do? Thats the question of the year or years. Again thanks for the welcome so soon I have only been on here one day.. sharun49er

thats good you are trying to take the steps to better your health. i used to take valium and finds it helps me to function at times, i also have a nervous problem i have yet to get diagnosed for. if you need to talk feel free
