Update and advice almost 2 yrs clean

Hey yall....its been a while since I have been here.  I will be clean  2yrs on November 16th and as I was reflecting this morning and reading some on the board I thought about what I felt almost 2 yrs ago plus.  I had tried and failed many times b4 finally makin it to this point in my life.

I quit QT.  Would I do it again like that?  HELL NO!!!  I say this because it was a living nightmare.  I believe along with the program I have now that living those almost 2 weeks of HELL after that day in November I would have chosen to wean myself with help of my then husband and my doctor. (btw, my dr was the one who busted me and therefore me making the decision to quit before legal folks stepped in)

But now, I sit back and think that those 2 weeks are the things that keep me from goin back into my addiction of lortab 10's.  I COULDNT SURVIVE ANOTHER 2 WEEKS LIKE THAT....

To those struggling...dont give up.  you will try and fail and try and fail, but there is going to be a time when you start to quit and find yourself determined and b4 long you will be on the road to recovery and free from the monster of drugs....  Hell I started and failed so many times I thought it was HOPELESS.  One friend (CATUF) is the one who encouraged me to not give up.  Thank you hun for everything.  

Please just dont give up...there is freedom from drugs...
