Update on me... :( Please read...

Nope, didn't relapse, have not touched hydrocodone of any type since...

But I have been in the hospital, today is the 16th day. Went c/t. Started with headaches, did ok, was taking aspirin a few days, then noticed ringing in my ears. Never knew you could o/d on aspirin by takin more than 1 81mg a day?
I was taking 10-15 325 mgs a day.... Well they admitted me and fixed the aspirin stuff...

And then the problems started surfacing, fever convulsions daily, it goes up to 105.5 at times. My liver is inflamed and has suffered some damage, my body is having a hard time controlling its own body temp. Maybe because I was taking the hydro at high doses for a year (I AM BEGGING YOU IF YOU ARE TAKING SOMETHING WITH TYLENOL PLEASE TRY TO STOP)

Well theres infection somewhere in my body, they have said maybe a few things, lupus, hep c, something called my sedimentation rate(sed rate) is going up. This means that theres inflammation or malignancy in the body...  Blood cultures are growing yeast in my blood... NOT normal or common.... I am in so much pain, and before I took the hydro recreationally, let me tell you it is a lot different when its medically called for... I am on 2 mgs of Dilaudid every 2 hrs and feel in no way addicted to that, it just barely touches my pain, please pray that I will be ok, I am so scared

I am so sorry for what your going through. I never knew about the aspirin thing and you may have very well saved someone else from going through what your going through. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope they find out what is going on soon.

Oh ****. Ykes, well that certainly opened my eyes some. I take that many, 10-15   10mg or 7.5s.. what ever i can get ahold of.. A Day!   I know it is causing my body grief, but I am in so much pain.. My stomach hurts so bad daily, I just bend over in pain. And like you said, When I am having the pain and am using the pills right, it is a major difference on how they feel, huh??  I really hope you feel better soon, and they can help you and find out what is wrong..     also.. My Mother in law is a retired nurse.. And SHE is always telling me to take a extra strength tylenol w/ my hydros b/c that intensifies the medicine.. Well just goes to show that the wicked stories of MIL's are true.. guess she has been trying to kill me.. *snarls*  I will definitely share your story w/ some of my friends!!! And again, good luck, and feel better!!!

I took large amounts of vicodin 7.5/325 for about 2 years and I am day 6 clean and it has been hell to pay...your message has just givin me a more positive stronger attatude about sticking to it.....I', sorry your going through so much, your young  :(  I'm going to pray for you, I wish you all the best!!
