Urgent-need serious help from all of you

First of all,at the onset i want express my sincere gratitude for the good work and help,support that I see in this website.Its really an excellent forum.

Well,I am from India and need particular advise on medications found in India.

Can you please help with the medicines names for Thomas Recipe as i am severely addicted to Codeine.(I buy it with the name of Mits Linctus Codeine.It has 10 mg codeine)

I came to know about a treatment called "THOMAS RECIPE" and it has given me hopes of able to leave my addiction..

Can people from India who have used Thomas Recipe give me the medicines name which i can get from the medical stores here in India?

Note:-**I tried getting some of the medications which earlier i had got for the THOMAS RECIPE but i couldnot get a single med.I feel they are sold with different names here in India

Many of the medicine and tablets are sold with different names in our India and so I would need the exact names to buy them.

Do you have any urgent desire to quit all together? Aren't you tired of the circle of madness? I hope you did come on here for help to end your cycle of addiction... These members are her to support anyone quitting a substance abuse addiction...

You say you are traveling and you won't be able to get your codine. If you plan on quitting, that can be your start. I would recommend staying at home. The Thomas recipe is just to help w/ physical w/ drawls. The real part comes from you, within. You can google  "Thomas Recipe" and find it from there. I do not know it off hand. I do know its some vitamins, a benzo (something for anxiety wich can be addicting), immodium, etc. I never had tried it myself... If I personally were you, I would seek help from a Dr. and tell him everything about your addiction. He will guide you from there. If you go on vacation (Or travel for business) and go cold turkey, you will get sick- you will have the runs. no sleep. I would go to the Dr before you go and see about getting help or checking out "suboxone." It personally saved my life and is a weening process. Everybody has different thoughts on suboxone, but you will never go into physical w/ draw of codine. It is a pill that's half life- blocks the brain receptors and kind of "tricks" the brain and gives you the same feeling as the pain killers gave ya. Ask your Dr. about that. He can adjust your dosage and maybe start you on a program. That just might save your trip and life....
