Used to be me

I just checked my messages on my phone a few minutes ago and someone from my recent past left me a few messages. They're looking for some vic's and they found this pill at the bottom of their purse thats pink round and they read me off the number.Four phone calls in 22 minutes, and each time the desperation in their voice becomes more intense. The last message said she would call my cell phone, which she will find is no longer activated to avoid phonecalls like these, and she went ahead and took the pill that she found in her purse eventhough she has no idea what it is.Its a dietrex, not sure of the spelling,a prescription diet pill.I'm not calling her back .Not strong enough to deal with that stuff yet,but it does remind me of how bad I was. I took pills all the time not knowing what I was taking or even thinking about is it ok to take when I'm taking the other pills too.I remember blowing up peoples phones too all hours of the night. To be honest I feel really embarassed right now. that used to be me. All I can do is pray for her right now and hope for the best.Peace.

Kim, you did the right thing, avoid all people & places that may contribute relapse. Their are a few people with whom I have written out of my life, mainly my ex-boyfriend who used to provide me with oxicotin, he is what I concider a trigger, I still cant drive by a Wallgreens without my stomach getting all twisted up inside, as this was where I would go, usually at midnight to hook up with my ex & wait to get our oxicotin, I,ll never forget the times I,d be puking in that parking lot while waiting for my ex to get the drugs, we would get them & around an hour later life was so good again, or so I thought. It has taken many years for me to come to terms with my addiction & learn what it takes to have serenity in my life, & Im still learning, its a daily thing. Great Job! Penelope
