Vicodin-hydrocodon question???

What does the 10-500 mean in vicodin (Hydrocodone)? What part of that is the narcotics? Is it the 10 or the 500?

Percocet DOES have tylenol (acetaminophen) hence the "Cet" in the name.  Lorcet/Norco/Vicodin all have tylenol in them.  Some have 325 tylenol...some have 500 mg tylenol. But they all do have tylenol. Vicoprofen has Ibuprofen....which is hydrocodone and Ibuprofen!  Hope this helps.

I didn't think hydro's had tylenol in them, percocet don't have tylenol in them, and i was told that hydro's didn't either, are there different kinds of hydros? Maybe the ones i saw was a different kind, is that possible?

Sorry i sound stupid right now, just don't know to much about drugs i guess.

So if someone is taking like up to 10 of those a day, it would be like taking 100 mg. of hydro, and 5000 mg of tylenol/a day...The tylenol is prob. worse for you than the hydro, right? How much tylenol is way to much in a day i guess is what i am asking?

I heard from someone here on the forum that there is like a certain mg limit that anyone should take of tylenol.  Maybe someone could remind her what that is.  I want to say 4000 mg but am not sure.

Yes 4,000 mgs is the MAX amount of tylenol suggested in a day... we all know that is easy to do..
Yes hydro aka vicodin, norco, loritab all have APAP in it which is tylenol
Percaset aka  enodocet, tylox ect  also have APAP in them
Oxycontin and Roxicodone are  oxycodone without tylenol
