Vicodin withdrawl(withdrawal) and depression

I have a history of depression and anxiety. I started abusing Vicodin because it is the only thing that made me feel better. After spending huge amounts of money and realizing that this was the wrong approach, I tried to quit cold turkey. I was so sick all day today and delved into the worst depression I've ever experienced. I was having actual suicidal thoughts until a friend gave a Vike and now I feel a bit better. Please someone help me. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter that needs me to be healthy Mom. Oh, btw I'm also on 200 mg of Zoloft which I don't even know if has helped me because I've been taking vicodin with it.

You can and WILL get better. I really wish you would talk w. your MD and be totally honest. You need to taper off with his/her help. Feeling like you do you really shouldn't be attempting to understand and do this on your own. He/She may be able to help with a gradual plan or something. Regardless, you need strong support. Please hang in there--life DOES get better! You have a lot to live for.
