Vicoprofin Vs. Vicodin

Is Vicobrofin stronger than Vicodin? The reason I'm asking is my doctor has changed my prescription and if that's the case then I don't want to switch. I would rather try to do without, although it can be very hard at times.

Please advise.

I was initially prescribed vicodin and my doc switched me to vicoprofen because of post-surgical adema (swelling).  He did advise me that they were stronger than what I was initially prescribed.  Hope that helps!

Not really any difference. Vicoprofen has Ibuprofen with the Hydrocodone. Vicodin has Tylenol. Strength would be the same if they both were the same dose.

The only difference is they have ibuprofen in them.  It's the milligrams of hydrocodone that makes them stronger or weaker.

VICOPROFEN IS MY OPINION IS MUCH STRONGER, EASILY BECOME ADDICTED BUT WORKS SOOO WELL! IT REPLACES TYLENOL WITH IBUPROFEN.. IN MY OPINION IT IS A GOOD DEAL STRONGER!! I FEEL MUCH BETTER WITH VICOPROFEN..
