Vision....Teeth......Insomnia???

Hey, I'm new.  Started posting the night of 8/16/12.
My vision is really different now that I'm clean.  How long should I wait before that part of my body may be healed enough to go get new glasses?  I haven't been to have my eyes tested since 2008 and then my heavy duty use of opiates began.  In fact. we went to S. Carolina for a funeral and to support some family and I took so many opiates
one night I got out of the car with my brand new glasses in my lap from reading a drive thru menu....forgot they were in my lap.  After some relatives there mowed the big yard where everyone parked, they found my glasses!
And I didn't think I had a problem with opiates clear back then.  That was Sept '08 They actually survived being run over by a riding lawn mower.
Next,  how about your teeth?  Any body else out there get a lot of gum line cavities?  Like over 6.....little black spots right at your gum line?
Lastly, I sleep real good once I get to sleep, But even with melatonin and benedryl.....I'm usually awake at 2 and 3 a.m.  I loveeeeeee to sleep and it's awful laying here looking around a dark room for a couple or more hours.
So, can I safely take my hubby's sleeping aid?  I do know that it is a different family from opiates and benzos which were my lovers.  It isn't generic ambien or lunesta.  It's some really old drug called Restorel or Restoral.
Anyone, nice to read your posts and feel some support.  Physically can't get to an NA meeting, but hope to be able to in a week or so  Clean 57  off suboxone 28.  (Sure is nice to feel like talking to someone and laughing again, huh?)

thank you for for replying to me.  I've posted about 3 or 4 times with little response so I really was excited to see someone share with me.

I'm 58 days clean and that includes 30 days on suboxone.  I just have fuzzy vision and my glasses for reading don't seem to work anymore.
And believe me, I did nothing but read books from the library and take pain pills for 3 yrs at least!  My glasses seemed to work fine then.

As soon as I can drive (having low blood pressure and therefore, dizzy every time I rise up from a laying position), I have to get my teeth fixed.
I just beat myself up because these last 3 cavities are in my front teeth and will affect so much if I don't get them fixed.

do you have a sort of blurry vision? i had it for some time at times and then it got better but i can not remember the time it took, maybe a couple of months but i guess everyone is different. And yes, i spent a lot of money on dentists :) i didn't take care of my teeth for a long time so..... i have had a lot of work done.

I can not advice you about the restoral, don't know about it...
