Visual Hallucinations

Im very new to this but desperate. I was however use to drinking Bourbon and decided to stop cold turkey and did so, yes I had withdrawals as expected. But it wasn't until two nights later I learned about visual hallucinations. I was fascinated at first with visits by the hundreds100s. I was visit by mainly and oddly tons of hardware, clothing, musical instruments on and on. I was almost excited as I had never an experience like this, however between my visitors and withdrawals I got no sleep that night at all.  Night number two my visitors were hundreds of snakes on my ceiling cougars, leopards, bats, lizards and a set of about 8 beautiful women like floaters. Even this was ok, I thought I was being haunted but no harms at all. a couple hours sleep and they were there when I woke, they were shooting videos on my ceiling and I even spoke to a few girls, I know it sounds crazy, but we spoke. I was now totally thinking I was haunted. I watched the whole show in awe, and didn't sleep more than two hours. I couldn't wait to get back to bed later. No trouble from anyone or thing. Day three, as soon as the lights went out bats, lizards, tarantulas and a Doberman Pinscher, I was waiting for the show and the bats immediately started landing on my bed and flapping their wings lizards and spiders all over the floor and the dog panting and whining under my bed. I grab a flashing and they disappear immediately...like poof!  I turn off the flashlight they are by the hundreds. so I flip on all lights and they all disappear again. I have to leave lights on but the dog wont leave under my bed even when I moved it into another room. I know this story is outrageous by anything I have read, I was actually looking forward to more show that was so peaceful and beautiful... now I am flipping out, the dog wont let me sleep, and are these REALLY hallucinations? Haunted? Both? My god I would love to see more of the good, but I am so out of my league. Any comments or help at all I would truly appreciate. has anyone ever heard of good hallucinations or communicating with the? I was going to sleep in the garage on a cot and the dog found me. Please help. Thank you all

Hi I'm hoping you have sought medical attention. Alcohol withdrawl can indeed cause visual/auditory hallucinations typically from day 2-3.

Hi  all I can say is WOW.....never heard of such vivid hallucinations and I have a lot of experience with LSD  pieoty ext  I would see a shrink you could be going threw some bipolar mania............

Whoa. That does sound insane. How long and how much bourbon were you on? Cold turkey from booze can kill you.

Did you ever see that very old movie "Lost Weekend?" The alcoholic goes c/t and he had hallucinations of a bat and a mouse. So that's what your post reminded me of. It means something is not right. You don't sound in control of your mind and I would really go to a dr asap and spill it (no pun intended.)
