WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE SUBUTEX/SUBOXONE??

Hi ....i am on 16mg subutex and have never heard of suboxone...i dont think it is available here in England., can anyone tell me what if any the difference is..

Subutex is pure buprenorphine (opiate).

Suboxone is buprenorphine (opiate) PLUS naloxone (opiate blocker).  Its a mix of both.  They use the naloxone to deter people from abusing buprenorphine.

Hope this helps.
