WTF?

today i went to the docs to get my prescrition of oxy's and on my last visit they gave me a **** test so today they tell me that i came up  positive for benzo's and barb's all because i took some xanax to go to sleep when i didnt have my pills and i took my moms firecet for my headaches. the doc, right away, labled me as a f*ckin junkie just because i came up positive. he cut off my prescription and gave me some Vic's to get by for a couple of days. also told me to go to rehab, right when he said that i almost got up to F*ckin hit 'em. motherf*ucker trying to lable me as a junkie when i cant afford to be a damn junkie. never gave me time to explain anything and just told me to make another appointment with my doc. well my doc. is never available thats y i got an appt. with that F*cker. n e way has any of this happend to any of you? plz post back. take care

Oh, this is the most upseting thing that can happen at a doctor.  I have not had a doctor come right out and tell me that I needed to go to rehab, but, I have had one come in and tell me that he was no longer going to give me 120 loratabs and it was way to much.  Then proceeded to tell me that he I needed to get off of these and get on a diffrent pill non-narcotic.
The last time I had this is I went to a new doctor he gave me all the back stretch test and I have documented back problems.  Well he gave me a sheet for a xray and a prescription for 5/5mg loratabs and treated me like I was a addict.  I told him I was in so much pain I could not take care of my kids and he said that I needed to deal with it and take the pills at night and I should be better in five days,  I wanted to punch him so bad,,, I dont know how I held back.  I could barely walk that day.... That is harsh...I never had that happen to me...But, I bet he got busted by giving pills to a patient and now is taking it out on you...

That would be a horrible thing to have to deal with. I am always counting my patches because I know I have to make sure I get to the dr. to get a written script before I can even go to the pharmacy. The thought of not having a patch scares me. I know I can taper off of the patches, but I sure can't stop all at once. I'm not ready for that. I wish I had more guts and could go c/t but I can't. The closer I get to being off the fentanyl the worse the w/d is between tapers. I don't crave more but I'm too afraid of running out.

he's doing his job thats all its called covering ones arsh obviously you took more then prescribed because you had to take all the other medication sounds like a smart doc to me can't blame your problems on doctors they don't like it when you tell them bs they probably see it all the time . this is a forum for junkies gee are you one of us or what.

not trying to be rude but why they give you a test anyway never heard of that your probably on record as one or they wouldn't give you a test if your taking them for pain at a prescribed dose.   can't con a con as they say in na.  if its not true this should not **** you off  if it does its true sorry but I'm too real for most part of getting clean is taking some responsibility docs got to make sure they don't gety blamed for making people junkies I bet some try it like sueing Macdonalds for a heart attack.

sorry to have to break this to ya danny,but u r a junkie.how do rationalise ur drug use in yr head to make it seem benign.i see a palpable piety in rx addicts as tho they r somehow better than the illicit user.i think u hav a great GP.mayb since he gave u the dope in the first place that he may help with a taper regimine.dont flame me folks.its just so obvious.a 'normal'non addict wouldnt react this way if they had their meds stopped.

blame the dr when he gives ya to much,,,get pissed when he dont give you enough and i thought this was addict forum so y would someone be offended if the dr treats ya like one
