Wanna Know

What's the difference between oxycontin and oxycodone?  I looked it up in a google search but the answers were confusing.  Anyone?  Love, Peace and Blessings...Rev
P.S. Thanx for your support over the past few days, I am much better than I was when I posted because I'd unwittingly had gone c/t off percocet.  I wrote in one of my last posts that doc. was giving me 7.5's but actually it is sraight oxycodone 15mgs.

oxycodone is the drug in percocet and oxycontin.  Oxycontin is just a brand name.

ok oxycodone is same as cotin except codone is a instant release and come in smaller doeage like 15,30,mgs and the cotin is a time released and comes wth bigger mgs like 20,40,60,80 and once was 160 mgs there the same thng basically except the time release on contin and not on the other but other thn that they are the same drug. others mite tell u other but i have done research on it because i had a oxycodone script and was alos takn oxycotin so i needed to kno if they were th esame on drug test or not.
