Want to come off lortab and Percocet

I am a 34 year old male who was addictied to crack about 10  years ago. I stopped that cold turkey and I have been clean off of that for over ten years now....But coming off these Lortabs and Percocet is the hardest thing I have ever had to do...I mean I do a severe back injury that I need to take something for pain to get through the day? But I have gotten to taken sometimes 20 Lortabs a day or 20 Percocet a day..depending on the say.. But I want to stop taking this Lortabs and Percocets...The withdrawals are awful...AWFUL...!!! I have to work everyday and trying to come off these and be withdrawaling cold tuckey and trying to function without them is impossible its seems...can someone that has done SubOxone explain how it works? From what I get...I go to one of the doctor's that can presribe it..sit down with him and tell him what has been happening, how it started and how it got to where it is now.....He will then prescribe me my Suboxone and my Lortab and Percocet for some many worth so I can use them to start weining myself off of then a little at a time, while also taking the Suboxone once daily...That will kinda stop the withdrawal from the time between doses of the pain pills, which will alllow me to take less of them...SO I wil take less and less of the pain pills everyday and eventually stop the pain pills altogether and then just take the Suboxone each day to keep myself from having any last withdrawals...then I just eventually stop taking the Suboxone? Do I sound like I understand how this thing works? WIll someone let me know soon....I want to meet wtih this doctor ASAP and get this over with and get my life back....

My son was on Suboxon(however you spell it). You have to be in complete withdraw for them to give you the oill they will give you a pee test before hane to make sure that there is nothing in your system and as soon as you take it all the withdrawl stops and you feel 100% better. This pill blocks the opium that is in the percs and even if you want to waste you money on them and take them while you are on this you will not get the high from them it just blocks the receptors in the brain. I called it a miracle drug.

i have no experience with sub, but if ask this same question tomorrow throughout the day and u'll get some definate guidance.
