Weird question about excercise and Once a day "High"

Not trying to fool myself or act like im anymore special than the next person hooked on Lortab ...but just wondering(opinions please) if i decided to go cold turkey, would the fact that i excercise on a regular basis and furthermore, the fact that most days  i'll take my lortabs "only" once a day ( 6 to 9) allllllll in the morning( in know how stupid and dangerous that/this is) BUT will go the rest of the day and night without, and during that 16 hour "down" time will experience mild withdrawall symptoms. I quess my main question is..is, will a person that takes all there daily dose at once, go through the same wd symptons as their friend that takes 1 to 2 every 4 hours throughout the 24 hour daily cycle? Thanks...Im so glad i found you guys ...no matter what your answers may be. :)

My concern is with you taking so many all at once.  That is very dangerous.  What are your plans for getting off these?  Let us help you okay??         sara

I was like you, I took mine by 10 every morning, but I smoked a heeavvvvy amount of weed all day as well. When I was taking hydrocodone, I would eat 25 norco's all at once. Talk about stupid, but it's the only way I could get high anymore. I went cold turkey and went to treatment, the only thing I used for WD's was clonidine, a blood pressure medicine that is used to help some of the accute withdrawal. I had very mild WD, in my opinion, because like you, I excersized daily and was in good physical health (in spite of my best efforts to destroy my body with drugs) and also I'm only 23. So while everyone is different, I think that our usage patterns helps withdrawal not be so bad, since our bodies are used to being without the constant re-up that goes with taking pills 4, 5, or 6 times a day.

That was just my experience, though. I wish everyone could have it as easy as I did. Good luck to you, tapering is very difficult. Have you tried cold turkey yet? Who knows, you might be able to stand it, it's uncomfortable, but doable. Let us know!

A person who takes 8 at a time will have more trouble than the person who takes 2pills 4 x a day..as a rule but we r all different
The massive endorphin release caused by an excessive dose is much more demanding on the brain than small doses thru the day..when a person tapers they should spread their doses out//small doses several times a day vs one or 2 big doses each day...the brain adjusts better this way and wds are not as painful

Been a while,....im down to 3 a day and plan on cutting it to 2 1/2 next week. THIS IS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER TRIED TO DO AND IT TAKES A LOT OF DICISIPLINE....BUT IT IS WORKING FOR ME. I am going to aa meetings excercising and IT IS STILL HARD...BUT THE SUPPORT GROUPS ARE THE DIFFERENCE. please pray that i will continue to ween down to NOTHING... again, i have NEVER faced ANYTHING this hard in my life. the reason im weening is because in the past, when ive gone "cold turkey" .AND...i HAVE ALWAYS RELAPSED. But everyone's physcy(sp?) is different.. THANKS ALL
