Wellbutrin

by ohsnap, Jul 24, 2007 07:30AM
Since I'm on vicodin right now for jaw pain, and sometimes it's a few days in a row, maybe a week at a time...I've noticed when I get off them, I don't feel as depressed/dysphoric as I used to when I wasn't on Wellbutrin.  I mean, this would happen if I was on vikes for a week....but now I seem to be okay.  Has anyone else had any experience with this, and if so, do you think the Wellbutrin is attributing to this?

I was on it when I was 19-21 with no ill effects.  And none as of now.  Knock on wood I guess.

The seizures usually only occur if you mix it with alcohol. Even one drink mixed with this drug can cause seizures. The first week or so I took it I was terribly weepy with lots of anxiety. After a couple of weeks, things evened out. Also, the vics are giving you a bit of a high. That's what's making you feel better mentally.

I don't think I explained myself well enough.  When I have to take vikes, even if it's for a couple days, or a week, after I'm done, I always feel crappy for a few days after, mentally.  Now, that doesn't seem to be happening, and I wondered if that was a side effect of the Wellbutrin.
