I keep promising myself that I will quit reading and then I see something or someone new (to me) and so I sit here - awake...lol Anyway - I have not read your earlier post, but it sounds like a HORRIBLE situation. I have 2 young daughters myself and due to mine and my husbands addiction to oxycontin - I will worry until the age hits where watching and worrying becomes the norm. However, I guess im nieve - but 11? wow, I had no idea that girls could be beginning to have these type problems at that age. You are a smart person to watch, worry and do anything to find out the truth and get her help. Sorry that I don't know the whole story, but I will go read after this. Anyway - my brother in law has been addicted to heroin for a very long time and he actually started Methadone (replacement therapy). He has continually increased the amount of that - and Im not sure what will happen next. I really would like to see him on Suboxone (just due to what I have recently learned about the possibilities, but you have to be on a pretty low dose of Methadone and quite a small amount w/ heroin to do this. So, obviously there is replacement therapy. I know there are some here that have quit c/t from the stuff and are doing very very well now. Honestly, I would google heroin addiction and recovery and see what you can find. SOrry, not much help on the subject other than to tell u that it is bad bad stuff and it will mess up a life but quick if given the chance. Please keep us posted on what you learn and how she is doing, ok? Good luck throughout this journey - and you and your fam will be in my prayers.
love and peace,

11 years old... really is a mind scrambler... I would just do what ever it took
I have never ever heard of an 11 year old on heroin. I would hit the school. I would hit the professionals that know how to deal with a problem like this. As a parent, I would be kicking doors in trying to find the problem if there is one. At 11 years your child has little to say whether or not to have any kind of test. Maybe a test like keeping your child out of school for a week... and why pretenses? Bash the door in.
I have 11 year old twins and cant imagine. They both chastise me for smoking cigarettes...almost daily
Good Luck
